• Account details: Name, email address, mobile number, and profile setup information
• Access data: Login credentials, OTP confirmation codes, and security logs

• Location data: Device location (approximate or precise), including background location, to enable safe zone monitoring, check-ins, and emergency alerts

• Video and camera data: If video calling is used, camera access is required. Calls are transmitted securely and not recorded by default unless explicitly notified
• Care receiver and caregiver data: Profiles of linked family members or care receivers, including safe zones, check-in times, and related wellness activity
• Verification material: In some cases, additional documents may be requested to confirm account ownership or identity

Purpose of Collection

1. Deliver wellness tracking, pill reminders, and safe zone monitoring features
2. Provide personalized insights and recommendations, including AI-based mood and behavior analysis
3. CEnable check-ins, alerts, and notifications for care receivers and caregivers
4. Maintain account safety and authenticate user identity
5. Facilitate emergency triggers, voice alerts, and video calling functionality
6. Improve stability, troubleshoot errors, and enhance app performance

Permissions

WellnessChecker AI may request device permissions such as:

• Location: To monitor safe zones, detect movement, and send related alerts (including background location where necessary)
• Notifications: To send reminders, check-in prompts, alerts, and service updates
• Microphone: To allow emergency voice alerts and enable calling features
• Camera: For video call functionality and identity verification if required

Permissions are only requested when required, and users may manage them through their device settings.

Storage and Protection

• WellnessChecker AI does not sell or rent user information to advertisers or external marketing agencies

Data Retention and Removal

• Account data: If you request account closure, the review is completed within 7 business days. Once processed, the information is securely retained for 30 days before permanent deletion from servers and backups
• Inactive profiles: Accounts unused for more than 90 days without formal closure are automatically deleted
• Emergency and check-in logs: Retained for a limited period (e.g., 30–60 days) to ensure continuity of wellness insights, then deleted or anonymized
• Exceptions: Certain records may be preserved longer if required by law, dispute resolution, or to improve app reliability

Children’s Privacy

WellnessChecker AI is designed for adults aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided data, it will be deleted promptly.

User Choices

1. Reset or update login information and passwords directly in the app
2. Manage permissions (location, microphone, camera, notifications) through device settings
3. Request a copy of stored personal data by contacting support
4. Request account removal at any time, subject to the timelines described above
